My Watch

There’s a story behind my favorite things and one of them is my Gucci watch. It’s a little pricey for some people but I think it’s worth it. I have this Gucci 1500 Series Collection watch ($545) for about six years and I am still using it. It’s my husband’s gift for me the first time we met. He knew I like watch very much and promised to get me one. It still looks nice except for the scratches on the stainless steel bracelet but other than that it worked perfect.
These time pieces don’t break pretty easily–I think if you take good care of them it will last for many years. I have changed the battery twice since I had it. The first battery lasted about three years. Gucci watches are water resistant 30m (100 ft) but you don’t have to submerge it in the water just to prove it . All of the collections both men and women are Scratch-resistant Sapphire Crystal so it won’t scratch the face of the watch–It’s always crystal clear.
Last year my birthday present from my hubby was this Gucci Twirl 112 Collection ($945) it came out late of 2006. I first saw it when Ben Bridge Jeweler sent me a brochure and I fell in love with it since. It was in my wishlist for about eleven months and then Gucci has this new ladies watch Signoria 116 Collection ($1,195) and I kind of like it it’s more expensive though than the Twirl 112 but the design is more like jewelry bracelet.
I was thinking of getting the Signoria 116 but I still love the Twirl 112 because of the wider bangle and it has a rotating case. Honestly, if I have tons of $$$ I will get every collection they have . I like Gucci watches and I would love to collect them if I can and recently they have two more new collections the Tornabuoni 118 Oval ($1,120) and Tornabuoni 119 Rectangle ($895).
