My favorite subject is Mathematics. I’m not good in English; I should say I was a B minus when I was in high school. Also I’m a lazy reader up until now–I don’t read books unless I have to but the odd thing was I like to read pocketbooks mostly Tagalog Love Stories (Philippines’ National Dialect is Tagalog) even during the exam day in my college days. Although Cebuano is our primary language in my hometown; I’ve learned few english words because it’s part of our school curriculum and I think watching hollywood movies and english tv shows helped me a lot.
I’ve made a post about this topic in my other blog which was removed and I think some of you was not able to read it. If you are somebody who is trying to remember or rather refresh your mathematical skills. I would love to share this website to you (math.com). It’s like your very own tutor. If you’re not a fan of Math then I still urge you to try it.
It’s beneficial for students who are trying to register at a university or college. As you know they require new students or some transferee students to take an assessment tests if not waived. And for anyone who are planning to get a job in a local or federal government or some private companies–They are most likely to give you an evaluation test. I just went to a job fair few weeks ago at a local area in Bremerton, WA and they asked applicants to take the assessment test at a community college before considering you a qualified applicant.
To all parents and guardians I recommend this one for your child. Have them use this tool for their after class activity. Be a mentor–encourage your child to take a few minutes of their time. See if this one will work on them. There are plenty of exercise that they can practice to sharpen their mathematical ability. This is the good time to introduce it to them while they’re young.

Help Improve Your Typing Skills And 10-Key Skills
I think some of you are still struggling to learn how to type. Some maybe happy with the way they use the keyboard or typewriter (manual or electric). Would it be nice if you could type faster and more accurate. You can do it even without going to school. It will improve your typing skills dramatically in just one week. You don’t need anybody to teach you. You can do it anytime you want plus it’s free.
I can type by touch about 40 wpm with little or no mistake but my 10-key skill is not that good. I was not able to learn it when I was in college and even when I worked as an accounting clerk. I have tried to learn it my own way but there was no improvement at all.
A year ago I researched online and found this website typeonline.co.uk . I’ve found some typing lesson websites but this is the one that worked well on me. I had practiced all five lessons last year so far my 10-key skill has been great. Although I am still in the process of improving my speed but I can type the numbers in the number pad without looking at the keys at all and I will be able to add my 10-key by touch skill in my résumé. I could not be prouder that I can share it to my reader. Try it and tell me what you think.
